Sarah McQuillen
Sarah works full-time at 12 Brown Street as Constituency Manager. Her role encompasses everything connected to the smooth running of John’s Salisbury office – dealing with his busy diary, assisting constituents with a wide range of problems and queries and ensuring that John keeps on top of his substantial volumes of correspondence.
Sarah studied Modern History at St Andrews University. She has been living and working in Salisbury for 15 years and is proud to call it home. As a busy working mum, when she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading popular science books – and sleeping!
Lisa Lovering
Lisa has degrees in Archaeology and Law and trained as a Barrister. She works in John’s Westminster office as his Senior Parliamentary Assistant. She previously prepared John for Defence Select Committee each week, and now assists John in his PPS role. Lisa also helps with drafting on speeches and Parliamentary Questions and together with Stuart manages the Westminster diary.
Having lived in and around the constituency for 15 years, Lisa has 3 children who attend schools in Salisbury and she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and riding when time allows.
Stuart Ramsay
Stuart recently graduated with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Lincoln College, Oxford. Stuart assists John with his Parliamentary duties by undertaking research and preparing briefs on a range of topics, and regularly works with him to draft articles, speeches, and questions to government ministers. With Lisa he is also responsible for the management of John’s Westminster diary.
Born and raised in the South West, he now lives in South East London and in his spare time enjoys playing squash, being involved in his local church, and playing jazz piano.
Laura Mason
Laura joined John’s team following her A Levels and now works in both Westminster and the constituency as a Researcher. She has a wide ranging role encompassing preparing John for Business Questions, assisting Sarah with the day to day running of the Salisbury office and carrying out research tasks. She also has responsibility for John’s website. Laura has lived in Salisbury all her life, and in her free time she enjoys running, the great outdoors and cooking.
